Theorists think a job is "basically done", once they have worked it out in theory.

90% of the work seems like it's done.
In reality 10% of the work is done. 90% remains.

Imagine this classic situation. The peeved underling finds his boss annoying. The boss doesn't get it! Doesn't understand! Seems to make arbitrary, even stupid decisions.
This may all be true.
But the boss often thinks the same thing about the underling.
What is missing is empathy. The boss doesn't understand what the underling does all day. The underling doesn't understand what the boss does all day. Neither person can put himself in the other's clogs.
