I'll never get around to writing it, of course.

But it sounds like a cheery, knockabout romp of a book.

I was thinking a smiling grim reaper on the cover. With a pina colada in one hand the familiar scythe in the other.

Meeting Myself

If I met myself at a party, this is what I would think as I chatted to myself:

It was a feat of triumphantly bad social engineering. Vast, leaking aquaducts of stagnant conversational gambits. Ruined cities of mediocre puns. Giant lakes of dying octopi. There was a creaking awfulness to his conversation. It was as if he had a speech to deliver. One that was intermittently interrupted by hapless inmates of a boredom asylum, all trying to change the topic.
